Safeguarding Week 2026 - 15 June to 19 June

After the success of Safeguarding Week 2025, City of York Safeguarding Adults Board and Safeguarding Children’s Partnership have once again teamed across the safeguarding partnerships across North Yorkshire, Kingston Upon Hull and East Riding to take part in Safeguarding Week which will take place from 15 June to 19 June.

The main theme for 2026 will be “Safeguarding Is Everyone’s Business”, with an emphasis on how we can work together.

In a similar format to last year, we would like to develop a programme for both professional and public audiences covering a wide variety of safeguarding themes looking at both adult and child safeguarding. The full programme has face to face events and a comprehensive range of online sessions where you can increase you knowledge and expertise in safeguarding adults and children.
