Welcome to the City of York Safeguarding Adults Board website
We believe that everyone has the right to live their life free from the experience, or risk of experiencing abuse and neglect, so they are able to maintain their own independence and wellbeing.
The Safeguarding Adults policy applies to adults, over the age of 18, who need support from health and social care services to maintain their independence.
